Curley Culp was an American football player who played professionally. He was an offensive and defensive lineman for the Arizona State Sun Devils in college, where he was the NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion. He went on to play professionally for the Kansas City Chiefs in the American Football League in 1968 and 1969, as well as the Chiefs, Houston Oilers, and Detroit Lions in the National Football League. He was a six-time AFC–NFC Pro Bowler and an AFL All-Star in 1969.
Hall of Famer Curley Culp passed away today at the age of 75. Enshrined into the Hall of Fame in 2013, Culp played 14 seasons of professional football w/ the @Chiefs (1968-1974), the Houston Oilers (1974-1980) and the @Lions (1980-81).
