Joseph Laurinaitis was a legendary pro wrestler known as Road Warrior Animal.
Laurinaitis, knowns as Road Warrior Animal, was one-half of the legendary tag team Road Warriors/The Legion of Doom with Michael Hegstrand, who was known as Road Warrior Hawk. Hegstrand died in 2003 at the age of 46. The duo and their manager Paul Ellering were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011. The tag team headlined many pay-per-view events. Laurinaitis’s son, James, was a linebacker for Ohio State University and played in the NFL.
