Career

Somerville’s first role was in the soap opera “The Guiding Light” in 1952. She may be best known for her role as Marlene, a widow with Alzheimer’s disease on the Showtime dramedy “The Big C.” She also appeared on “House of Cards,” “Law & Order” and “The Sopranos.” On the big screen, she had a role in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and she starred in numerous Broadway productions.

Age

She was 76 years old during her time of death. On Thursday July 16, 2020, she died on natural causes.
