Sven Alarik Melander was a journalist, comedian, television host, and actor from Sweden. After the sudden death of original host Stellan Sundahl, he took over as host of the Swedish TV show Snacka om nyheter. He was born and reared in Malmö, Skne, although he currently resides in Saltsjö-Duvnäs. He is the father of Victor Melander, Christina Melander, and Linnéa Melander, and was married to Karin Melander-Hassler.
