Tom Long, an Australian actor, passed away following a long battle with cancer. The actor had been battling multiple myeloma since 2012. He died Sunday Morning on 4th January at age 51 after suffering from encephalitis.
His health condition changed when he collapsed on stage at the Sydney Opera House in 2012, which was later found to be blood cancer. He had shared his illness on The Project in July on his seven-year battle with multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer, and his long treatment history, including chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants, and natural therapies. In December 2018, doctors gave the actor only 3-12 months to live. However, he was deemed cancer-free after undergoing a medical trial in Seattle, Washington.
