Jane Arliss Sturgulewski was a businesswoman and Republican politician from Alaska in the United States. In a political career that began in 1975, she served in the Alaska Senate from 1979 until 1993, representing Anchorage. In blanket primary, she won the Republican nomination for governor of Alaska twice during her off-years in re-election to her four-year Senate term (in 1986 and 1990). The second time, in 1990, she finished third behind Walter Hickel and runner-up Tony Knowles, the second of three times in Alaska’s history that a major-party nominee finished third. She received the Anchorage Athena Award in 2000.
