Doug Supernaw was a country singer known for songs including his 1993 No. 1 hit, “I Don’t Call Him Daddy.” Supernaw’s 1993 debut album, “Red and Rio Grande,” took him to the top of the country charts. His first single, “Reno,” made it to No. 5. He followed it with the chart-topping “I Don’t Call Him Daddy,” which had been a single for Kenny Rogers (1938 – 2020) in 1988. Supernaw later released singles including “What’ll You Do About Me” in 1995 and “Not Enough Hours in the Night” in 1996.
